One of the Port of Rouen’s missions is management of Public Coastline Land. Such land, belonging to the State, is developed, maintained and operated by the Port Authority.
The Port of Rouen manages about 3,000 hectares, including almost 1,000 hectares dedicated to industrial-port activities.
For your location on Port of Rouen land, the Port Authority rents out undeveloped land and warehouses under Temporary Occupation Authorisation agreements (AOT).
The Port has a vocation to provide the means for transhipment of goods and it therefore gives priority to installations that foster seagoing and/or waterway traffic.
The periods for these AOT agreements vary in relation to the nature of the installation project and the investments considered.
Any installation project must receive permission from the Port’s Board of Directors for it to be validated
